Anyone, Romanian citizen, of legal age, with full legal capacity, holding a valid identity document (Identity Card), having a bank account opened at a credit institution, or a payment account opened at an electronic money issuing institution or payment institution, authorized by the B.N.R. or registered in the specific registers of the B.N.R. as having the right to provide services on the territory of Romania, and who is not a U.S. person, can open an account through the iFonduri platform.

Creating an account on the iFonduri platform takes approximately 10 minutes. After completing the verifications, we validate your account opening and provide full access to the platform for placing orders. This process can usually take one business day.

Access the My Account section/ Personal Details subsection and request account closure. Account closure takes place within 15 days of the request. You will no longer be able to make investments 10 days before the account closure date. You must redeem all fund units in your account no later than 5 days before the expiration of the 15-day period, then an automatic redemption will be initiated and all available funds will be transferred to your bank account.

The investment services contract is concluded within a system of distance investment services and activities, organized by iFonduri which, for the purposes of the contract in question, uses exclusively a means of distance communication up to and including the moment when the contract is concluded, in order to achieve the agreement of will between the parties. The video identification process of the client uses a video identification solution in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC. Then, at each authentication in the platform, the two-factor authentication system (2FA) is used.
